Wedding DJ at The Beaumont — Wayne, Nebraska

The Beaumont is Wayne's big room: 15,000 square feet on 30 acres, just north of the country club at 2611 N Highway 15. It seats 500+ without cutting the guest list, and the lights and wireless mics are already in the building.

We've DJ'd a lot of Saturdays here. This page is what we tell couples who are booking the Beaumont and want to know how the music actually works in that room.

The room

High timber ceilings, a real stage, a paved lot, and a floor that can hold a wedding or a concert. Built-in lighting is already aimed. House wireless mics are already there. What we bring is the dance-floor sound and the person running the night.

Big rooms fail when you treat them like a small one. We set mains and subs on the dance floor, not blasting the perimeter tables. Guests at dinner can still talk. The floor is still a floor.

Lights and mics

The Beaumont's lighting and wireless mics are part of the venue. We run them with our system so toasts, announcements, and the first dance aren't three different people holding three different packs. If you want cold sparks or extra production, that's us too — not a second vendor the coordinator has to chase.

Ceremony

Indoor ceremonies use the same room. Outdoor vows on the lawn are wind and open air — we mic the officiant and whoever is actually speaking, on a separate ceremony system, so the reception in the hall is already standing and tested before anyone walks in.

Load-in

Access is 8am to midnight. The lot is paved. We load in early, stay out of cocktail photos, and we're not still gaffing cable when guests sit down.
